Packaging connects form, structure, materials, color, imagery, typography, & regulatory information to create a product suitable for marketing.
As graphic designers, you will learn that packaging design is a mediator in the consumer exchange in this intense research-based workshop.
The value of Temporal Typography, type as Representative of Society, and Cultural Production is explored throughout the semester with emphasis on the conceptual model of sign as mediation among the conditions of interpretation; that which the design represents; and object represented.
